Established in March 2018, Murex Travel is a proudly Mossel Bay-based travel agency providing professional and personalised travel services to leisure, corporate, government and group travellers.

For the past three years, Murex Travel has been conveniently based at Shop 67, Langeberg Mall, Mossel Bay, where our growing team assists clients with travel arrangements throughout South Africa and around the world.

Today, Murex Travel has a dedicated team of four travel consultants, committed to providing personal service, expert advice and reliable support from the moment you start planning your journey until you return home.

Murex Travel was founded by Peter Hansen, whose career in travel and tourism began in 2009 after completing his professional travel training at an international travel agency in Cape Town.

With more than 17 years of experience in the travel industry, Peter has worked extensively across leisure, corporate and government travel. His personal travels to destinations including Germany, Thailand, Mauritius, Seychelles, Zanzibar and Dubai have also provided valuable first-hand destination knowledge.

It was his passion for travel, combined with a desire to offer clients a more personal and professional travel service, that led to the establishment of Murex Travel in 2018.

Since then, the business has continued to grow, expanding both its team and the range of travel services offered to clients.

Corporate, Government & Municipal Travel

Murex Travel has developed extensive experience in managing corporate, government and municipal travel requirements.

Our journey into this specialised market began in 2019 when Murex Travel secured its first three-year Government Department travel contract. Since then, we have continued to grow our experience in managing flights, accommodation, car hire, transfers and other travel requirements for organisations and public-sector clients.

Today, Murex Travel is proud to provide travel services within the Mossel Bay and George municipal markets, further strengthening our presence and reputation throughout the Garden Route.
